Happy June, Renaissance People!

RP Presents! is back at 61 Local and you're invited to take part in the festivities. Bring your friends, grab a drink and a snack,  and learn how to push the limits of your own voice with

World Beatboxing Champion, Kaila Mullady (www.kailamullady.com).

We'll also be joined by musician and instructor Amy Schildge who will be traveling up from Virginia to teach us how to play the jaw harp.

Finally, for June's challenge: we're competing to see who will be named June's Renaissance Person by playing a song on a xylophone made of water glasses.
The winner gets tickets to a future event and a mystery prize!

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Everything.
We are Renaissance Person.

Tickets are $12 and include your own jaw harp to keep for-ev-er.

Curator: Gina Leggett
Host: Colby Black

We are proud to host our VI(R)P, Kaila Mullady, a New York-based performer and the 2015 World Beatbox Champion, 3x reigning America Vice Beatbox Champion, Loop station champion, and 3x reigning Beatrhyme Champion.

Kaila performs all over the world infusing beatboxing, singing, rapping, poetry and theater to push the boundaries of creativity and show just what the human instrument is capable of and teaching workshops all across the world promoting reading, writing and finding your own soul music.

Check Kaila Out!

I first saw Kaila perform at an event for Daybreaker and she completely blew everyone away. She's coming by to give a little performance and teach you RP's how to push the limits of your own voice and Renaissance Person is very proud to have her involved.
